Three students from our school won gold medals in the 24th China High School Biology Olympiad held in Jiangxi Yingtan No.1 Middle School from August 16 to 20. They stood out from from 238 contestants with their solid theoretical knowledge and accurate operation in the experiments. Due to their excellent performance in the competition, they were all enrolled in the follow-on national training program. Among the three students, Chen Ziyu and Lv Bowen have gained direct admission to Peking University, and Zhou Huarui has been admitted to Tsinghua University without exams. We would like to extend our sincere congratulations to their coach, Li Xiaoming and head teacher, Zhang Hongxia. The three students will compete with other elite students in the training program for a chance to represent China at the International Biology Olympiad. Wish them outstanding success in their future undertaking.
